Here I share resources, projects, lessons and activities from my Health classroom.

I have learnt a lot of what I know from two amazing Health educators: Amy Lauren Smith and Andy Milne, not to mention the many other teachers sharing ideas and resources on X #healthed

I hope that in sharing resources we can help provide meaningful, authentic and relevant Health education to students around the world.

At my school, we created this Health & Wellness Wheel to incorporate six dimensions of Health.

We constantly refer back to the Wellness Wheel to understand that there are many different ways of being healthy (not just diet and exercise) and that our wellness is dynamic and changes over time.

The six dimensions of health were adapted from the ten dimensions of health found in Holly Alperin and Sarah Benes' book: Lesson Planning for Skills-Based Health Education.

The Wellness Wheel idea came from the incredible Health teacher Amy Lauren Smith.
