Season 2 sports are:

Track and Field

The Track and Field program at JIS culminates in the 'Weber Classic' track meet held at JIS. Our athletes compete against athletes from other international schools in Jakarta. Prior to this, athletes spend time improving in track and field events that they choose. All athletes who practice will get to represent JIS in the Weber Classic. It is one of the biggest events in the middle school, and we encourage all parents to come and cheer on our 'young dragons'.

Basketball

The basketball program welcomes all abilities, with less able athletes being taught basic skills, and there being a very big emphasis on fun. We hope there will be opportunities this year to compete against other International Schools in Jakarta.

Swimming

Swimming is a huge part of life in both Indonesia and at JIS. Time Trials will be held prior to the start of Season 2 for anyone wanting to be part of the JIS swim program. This is a competitive program aimed at preparing our swimmers through competition for the rigor of the HS program. The swim team will take part in both local and international competitions.
