Life Science is an investigation-based course with an emphasis on developing the students' laboratory skills and to provide a solid base in scientific literacy in the life sciences. The course will also provide a foundation in introductory computer science programming as a tool for furthering students' analytical abilities. As such, this course is designed to simultaneously prepare students for any further study in any high school science subject as well as build student foundational scientific literacy as global citizens.
This website is your one-stop-shop for resources prepared to help you be successful in the Life Science course. As we move through the year, students will be provided with printed and digital resources designed to support your learning. You will also be expected to provide a notebook where you will maintain class notes and summaries.
The 2025-26 Physical course is designed and taught by 6 HS Science teachers: Ms. Marcos, Mr. Banino, Dr. Peña, Mr. O'Sullivan, Ms. Diso, and Mr. Wylie. Your teacher should be your first stop for questions, but you can always ask questions to any of the other teachers. We are a very supportive team and we like to support each other and all our students. We believe that everyone can experience success in science, so you should feel safe to ask us questions... we all love science and want to help you succeed!
