Security Council

The United Nations Security Council is comprised of 15 members, 5 of which have veto power (U.S., U.K., France, China, Russia). The UNSC has the power to make binding decisions and consequently is considered one of the more powerful bodies of the UN. Together, the member states work to ensure peace and security around the world.
