Hello! My name is Phoebe Aguilar MS, LPC-Associate, NCC, and I am so excited to serve as the Counselor for Elementary, and other campuses as needed. As a proud Pleasanton native, it’s a true honor to be back home giving back to the tri-city community that shaped me.
I am a military veteran’s spouse, and through that journey I’ve learned the value of resilience, adaptability, and the power of strong community connections. I earned my undergraduate degree in Occupational Workforce and Leadership from Texas State University and went on to complete my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
I hold the title of Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-Associate), which means I have completed my master’s-level training and am now in the final stage of supervised practice as I work toward full independent licensure. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a professional credential that recognizes my meeting of national standards in counseling knowledge, ethics, and practice.
Outside of counseling, I am also a licensed barber and cosmetologist. I’ve always loved connecting with people and helping them feel both good on the inside and confident on the outside—it’s a passion that naturally flows into my work as a counselor.
Education runs deep in my family as well—my mother works for the Region 20 Service Center, and my grandmother is a scientific writing professor at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. Growing up surrounded by strong women in education inspired my own love for learning and helping others succeed.
Most of all, I thrive on relationships and believe that every student has unique strengths, dreams, and potential. My role is to support, encourage, and guide our students socially, emotionally, and academically, so they can grow into confident and capable individuals.
I am grateful to be serving my community again, and I look forward to walking alongside our students and families every step of the way!
