We all face challenges in our day to day life, and sometimes they can feel overwhelming. I believe that we need not face these difficulties alone. I help my clients locate and develop their strengths and develop a plan for healing. I have been supporting individuals and families for more than 20 years. I have spent many years working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, members of the LGBTQIA community, and persons living with chronic illness.

I believe it is essential to understand as thoroughly as possible the difficulties you face. Once we reach a mutual understanding of the challenge we face together, we can develop a plan to move forward. My philosophical foundation is in the ecological, or person-in-environment, perspective. From there, I focus on solution oriented, strengths-based interventions, often integrating material from Cognitive Behavioral therapies. I provide a warm and supportive environment for clients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, family challenges, academic or vocational troubles, grief and loss, and coping with chronic illness.
