The Kremenets District Research Group has translated and compiled vital records, yizkor books, Revision Lists (censuses), resident lists, cemetery gravestones, and records from many more sources. Families sometimes moved from town to town, so we encourage you not to limit your search to one Kremenets-district town.
See below for a list of translations and compilations.
See KDRG Document Acquisitions and Status (spreadsheet) for a list of all the documents we have obtained and the status of each translation project.
When a Kremenets-district translation is completed, we add all personal names, town names, and source information to the Concordance.
Read Introduction to the Concordance and How to Search the Concordance. Also see Sources Indexed in the Concordance (PDF), which identifies the source document abbreviations and tells you how to access the source document.
Use Concordance One-Step Search to locate records with your ancestors' names and your ancestral town names, or download a spreadsheet of the Concordance sorted by surname or town.
See the number of name-town entries (PDF) for each town mentioned in Kremenets-district documents.
We upload all proofed records to JRI-Poland's database. However, there is often a lag time between proofing and uploading.
See JRI-Poland's Town Explorer for more information on records for your town.
The Ukraine Database incorporates many component databases.
Unified Search covers all databases maintained by JewishGen, as well as some partner databases.
