Here is a testimonial letter in Hebrew written for Rabbi Dovid Well when he left Soviet Ukraine in 1927 to lead his family to Canada. His great-great-granddaughter writes:
The person who wrote it seems to have been highly intelligent and knowledgeable — the document includes beautifully poetic Biblical Hebrew as well as references to Greek terms and even a reference to a famous elegy that was written for Abraham Lincoln!
The third page consists of the names of the signatories.
