WHAT: The Jesuits are Listening

How can the Jesuits West Province better accompany and form youth, young adults, and families through Ignatian spirituality?

HOW: Discernment in Two Phases

1) Speak Up!

• Sixty to ninety-minute listening sessions (in-person & online) with the following groups and those in ministries serving them:

  • High School (14-18 years old)

  • College (19-23 years old)

  • Young Adults (24+ years old)

  • Families with children under 14

2) Province Discernment Process

• A team of 12-15 Jesuits and lay partners will discern a response to the question above, informed by what emerges from these listening sessions.

• A proposal will be submitted to the Provincial by the summer of 2026.
