There are lots of ways to get involved at Jessup! It all comes down to what you're interested in. The Office of Orientation and Engagement has several program area teams that design and implement a variety of activities, connections, and resources for the Jessup community.

Breanna has been on the JOE Team for the past two years and she currently is one of our C'LAB Interns! "My favorite event is J-Chella. I love the idea around the event, and the relaxed, yet intentional atmosphere it creates. We have some many talented individuals that attend Jessup, so I love the opportunity it gives for those to showcase their talent. Being on the JOE team has helped me gain skills in event planning and has aided in my organizational skills. Most importantly, it has taught me how to work with all types of people as well as how to create events that is geared towards a large variety of people. Mikayla has been a part of the Jessup Orientation and Engagement team for three years and finished up her last year as a Discover Intern. Since joining the JOE team in 2019, Mikayla has served as a Discover Ambassador, Discover Captain, and finished as a Discover Intern. "The JOE Team is not only a team but a family. Each year we work hard and work together to create a safe, welcoming space for new students and current students. Being a part of this team has been the highlight of my years at Jessup!
