There is an assessment and a project for each unit to check for understanding. Students are required to manage their time efficiently and effectively. Students are allowed to retake assessments and resubmit projects following the guidelines in the “Late Work, Retakes, and Fix & Finish Form” found in our Google Classroom. It is the student’s responsibility to submit the form for each assignment and activity necessary. This form is highly encouraged if the grade earned is not satisfactory. If the grade is below 70%, it will become an extra assignment in Google Classroom.

For our keyboarding skills, there is daily practice in class and a weekly test that will receive a participation grade. This test may only be done once during the open window (we want to focus on practice but check in on our progress). This test may be done at home if it is missed at school. The end-of-quarter test requires a 20 word improvement and that test may be done more than once in class.
