In this unit you will be able to:

1. Relate the concepts of momentum and impulse.
2. Define momentum and apply momentum concepts to some everyday events and thus predict behavior of certain bodies.
3. Use knowledge of momentum and impulse to build an egg drop apparatus.
4. Apply the law of conservation of momentum to various types of collisions to calculate the results.
5. Predict the behavior of two bodies when they collide elastically and in-elastically.
6. Explain the conservation of momentum law and use it to predict the behavior of bodies in selected situations.
