Get Ready For Summer Reading at Jericho Town Library! We are proud to collaborate with Deborah Rawson Memorial Library to offer an exciting season of activities. Kids and teens can sign up at the library or with this form. Adults can also sign up at the library or with this form.

Weekly Programs
Tuesdays in July, 8-9am: Gentle Yoga (for adults). This gentle, accessible, donation-based yoga class is offered by Deanna Bartlett. Donations are optional and go directly to the instructor. Registration encouraged, drop-ins welcome.
Tuesdays, 3-4pm. Slime Club (for kids 9 & up). Join us on Tuesday afternoons to learn new recipes and try your hand at some special slime challenges. Registration is REQUIRED. Kids are welcome to attend unaccompanied. Please register here. July 16th, July 23rd, July 30th.
Wednesdays, 3-4pm Comic Capers. July 17th and 31st. Come talk about comics and graphic novels, play story-based games, and make your own comic or graphic novel! Registration encouraged. For ages 8 and up. *POSTPONED FROM 7/10 DUE TO WEATHER WARNINGS*
Thursdays, 9:30-10am: Move & Groove, a movement-based storytime for kids 6 & under (formerly marketed as Storytime Yoga). No registration required. *CANCELLED 7/11 DUE TO FLOOD WARNINGS*
Thursdays, 10am-12pm: Playgroup (ages 6 & under)
Fridays, 11am-12pm: Fairy Tale STEAM Challenges (ages 6 & up). Starting on July 19th, kids ages 6 and up are invited to join library staff on Fridays at 11am, before the library officially opens, to read a fairy tale and then participate in a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) challenge related to the story. Kids must be accompanied by a grown-up. Registration is REQUIRED. Please register here.

Saturdays, 9-10am: Romp & Rhyme (for babies, toddlers, & their caregivers). We start with a short 20 to 30 minute storytime, after which you are welcome to stick around for unstructured play.
Select Saturday (and one Wednesday) afternoons: 3D Printing Adventures. Interested in using the 3D printer? Sign up for a 3D Printing session at the library! Library staff will be on hand to teach you about 3D printing and to help you troubleshoot your design. Registration is REQUIRED. This program is open to adults, teens, and kids ages 8 and up. Kids are welcome to attend unaccompanied. Please register here. Starts July 6th.
Special Events
Thursday, July 11th, 6:30-8pm: Fiber Arts Circle for adults. Come knit, crochet, or otherwise craft! Drop in at any time. Every second Thursday of the month.
Thursday, July 18th, 10:30-11:15am on the Town Green. Music & Movement with Miss Emma.
Thursday, July 18th, 7-8pm: Speculative Fiction Book Group meets to discuss Termination Shock.
Thursday, July 25th, 7-8pm: Sustainability Book Group meets to discuss Bicycle City. We will meet in person and via Zoom.
Saturday, July 27th: Pet Parade! This year is all about adventure, in honor of our summer reading theme. We encourage participants in the parade to pre-register, though you may also register on the morning of the event between 10am-10:45am. The parade itself will start at 11am.
Thursday, August 15th, 10:30-11:15am on the Town Green. Music & Movement with Miss Emma.
When there is rain or other inclement weather, the book return drop box will be locked to avoid water damage to the books. Thank you for understanding and keeping the books safe and dry!
