Timeline of the Project

Our Green Future

November: Project Introduction

- Parent Permission Forms: Collect permission slips from parents to allow students participation in the project.
- Project Kick-off: Introduce the project to students, explaining its goals,themes.
- Pre-surveys: Distribute pre-surveys to both teachers ans students.
- Logo and poster creation and voting: Students from partner schools will work in teams to desing a project logo then a voting process will be organized to choose the project's logo.

December: Zero- Waste Activities

- Kahoot Challenge: Each partner will creat a quiz about zero-waste by using Kahoot application considering their students' ages. Each partner will share their own kahoot links and students' photos while answerin questions in kahoot.
- "From waste to Toys" book: Students will make toys by using waste materials. Then each partner will add the toys photos, necessary materials to make it and a short description of how to make it in our virtual book.

January: Sustainability

- Making Board Games with Waste Materials: Students will create original board games with waste materials.They will explain the rules of their games. Also, the rules will be related with the nature issues.
- Making Fertilizer from Egg Shells: Students will collect the egg shells at home. they will crush the egg shells to get fertilizer at home. And they will use them as fertilizer for plants.

February: Energy

- Safer Internet Day: Students will celebrate safer internet day and share their works in twinspace.
- Reducing Carbon Footprint: Each partner will prepare a poster about carbon footprint and create a slogan about reducing carbon footprint. All the works will be combined in canva.
- Energy Saving: Each partner will shoot a video about saving energy. students will act their given roles. And the videos will be combined to make a full informative video about saving energy sources.

March: Water

- Water is Life: Each member will prepare a brochure about the importance of water with their students. Each student can prepare a brochure either handmade or digitally. Then, we will create a collaborative digital billboard with all the brochures created.
- World Water Day Activitiy: Each member will be given a letter. They will prepare the letter with their students. The letters will be in the form of an art work created from waste materials. The prepared work will be added to twinspace. Then, they will be combined in a collage form and World Water Day poster will be created.

April- May: Final Work and Evaluatiion

- Final Work (Single Song Album): All members of the project will creat a song as the final work. It will be a mixed country team work. Each team will have a different duty. 1. team will write the lyrics. 2. team will creat the music. 3. team will make the cover of the album.
- Evaluation: Teachers and students will answer the questionnaries and will join all evaluation activities.
