Time-Intensive Subjects

Time-Intensive Subjects:

We strongly recommend that a learner take no more than 2 elective subjects with a Practical Assessment Task (PAT) component because of the additional hours (afternoons, weekends and school holidays) that must be spent completing the PAT. 

Subjects that include a PAT component are: 

Computer Applications Technology (CAT)

Dramatic Arts

Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD)

Information Technology (IT)

Visual Arts

Note: IT and Visual Arts are timetabled together therefore cannot be taken together.
