ONLINE LEARNING Expectations of learners

• Check your Google Classrooms, your @jeppeboys Gmail account and your Google Calendar daily.

• Attend tutor period every Monday morning at 08:30.

  • Tutors will be available to assist you with planning your work for the coming week and to offer pastoral support.

• Review the Weekly Work Schedule which you will be given at the beginning of each week and ensure you follow the schedule and complete all work contained therein.

• Dress appropriately for lessons. Whilst school uniform is not compulsory, it is expected that you are dressed neatly in attire that is commensurate with assisting the learning process.

• Make sure you have eaten before your lessons commence.

• In live lessons mute microphones, unless your teacher gives you permission to unmute yourself.

• Cameras do not need to be on during live lessons (but teachers may call on you to activate them briefly if required).

• Communicate with your teachers if you are not going to meet a deadline.

• Ask for help if you do not understand the work. (If you cannot attend live lessons, you can send your teacher a message from Google Classroom to ask for assistance.)

• Be polite and courteous at all times. Any unacceptable behaviour will be dealt with in the strongest terms and according to the School’s Code of Conduct and Digital Literacy Policy
