¨A Digital Citizen ia a person who develops the skills and knowledge to effectively use the Internet and other digital technology, especially in order to participate responsibly in social and civic activities¨.

Jeppe Boys will not only use our Social Media Policy and Code of Conduct for encouraging good online behaviour and engagement, but will also follow the guidelines as laid out by Commonsense Education.org and its Digital Citizenship guidelines which can be found here.

Healthy online behaviour:

It is likely that during this time of online learning and school closure that you might find that you are spending more time online than what could be considered healthy. Of course, we want you to keep up with your schoolwork, but we also we understand that you might be tempted, or fall, into a habit of spending more time online and Social Media than usual - which could lead to unhealthy habits. We ask that you follow the guidelines of good Digital Citizenship, which can be found below.

Remember to limit screen time, be physically active and use Common sense.
