Non-Major Audition Information
duPont Manual HS Students ("non-YPAS Majors"):
If students are in another Magnet Program at duPont Manual HS and are interested in applying for YPAS Orchestras as a non-YPAS major, their auditions will happen after-school on Tuesday, May 5th of 2026. You can find more information via your Freshman Counselor and fill out the 2026 YPAS Music Electives Audition Form (*Note: this form will close on May 1st). Once you fill out the form, you will be contacted by Ms. Barbosa via email with Audition Instructions and a Google Form for you to fill out and confirm your audition.
The Audition Requirements are the same provided above. Non-YPAS Majors are not required to submit written materials such as Resume, Recommendation Letters, and One-Page Essay, however, if admitted to the YPAS Orchestras, they will be expected to follow all program guidelines available in the YPAS Orchestra Handbook.
