They care for the well-being of animals by doing routine tasks under the supervision of veterinarians, animal scientists, or veterinary technologists or technicians"  Certification is awarded after passing the end of the pathway exam, the NOCTI (National Occupational Competency Testing Institute).

"Here in vet class, you learn how to take care of animals as a vet does. At Valley, you can learn how to wash, groom, and take care of the animal. You also learn the structures of the animals (bones and organs). You also get hands-on with the animals to be able to groom and wash them yourselves. If you love animals.
