Freshman Academy

"Career Options is a classroom-based, comprehensive guidance and career exploration course for 9th grade students. This course is designed to support students, encourage student success, improve personal and academic skills, decrease dropout rates, increase graduation rates and support and improve post-secondary plans and participation."

You can explore your future at Valley High School in the Career Options class. Students are introduced to the various pathways within our two leading academies, the Health Science Academy and Industrial Maintenance Academy. Students are also given the opportunity to build up the "soft skills" that employers often look for when entering the workforce.
