Pay Gap Problems

We all have ideas on how the country should be run. Surely, at least in one of your ideas to change our country, you had something to make your life easier. At the beginning of America, we only had Founding Fathers. One can guess that at the start of America some of the founding fathers “rigged it” to make life easier for them and men alike.A result of this is that everyone else had to pick up their slack. Because of this, women have always got the short end of the stick. Women were expected to stay home to cook and take care of the children while men would work. This has changed. Now, women and men both go to work and take care of children. However, there will be the lasting effect of the past behind us.
One part of that effect is the gender pay gap. The gender pay gap as you might have guessed is about the difference in mens and womens paychecks. According to Harvard Business Review “Women still bring home just $89 for every $100 that men do”. This is without all the other notions that the gender pay gap was because of “less experience” and “they chose low paying jobs.” Even though including all these notions, women still get paid 17% less than men.
The worst part about all of this is that the pay gap between women and men is illegal in the United States. As the National Conference of State Legislatures puts it, “In 1963, Congress passed the Equal Pay Act, which made it illegal for employers to pay women lower wages than men for equal work on jobs requiring the same skill, effort, and responsibility.” Unfortunately, even though this is a law, women still earn less than men in those same jobs.
Remember this happens everywhere in the world – including Kentucky. Based on The Courier-Journal, women in Kentucky with an associate degree earn about $100,000 less than a man with only a high school diploma in a lifetime. That means a woman who went to college could earn less money than a man who didn't go to college. This won't happen for everyone though: the United Nations estimates that it will be at least 257 years before the world can finally finish the gender pay gap. This means you can only hope that your great great grandchildren won't have to live in a world where women still get paid less than men.
All things considered, people must know that the gender pay gap is a problem and it needs to be taken care of because everyone – every gender, every color, and every person – deserves equality.

Hamsters origin
First we should start with basic information about hamsters. Hamster first originated from southeast Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Around 1930 A medical person who experiments and breeds animals got the hamster and took it back. He further domesticated these hamsters and gained popularity.
Basic Hamster Information
Hamsters' life spans are short, usually living 1-2 years. Most hamster breeds you'll find in the store here in America are the teddy bear, syria, robo snowball, winter white dwarf, and the chinese hamster.
Hamster Diet
The hamster's diet contains varieties of fruits and vegetables, timothy hay, and pellet mixes. Hamsters require a few treats a day and fresh clean water. Make sure to not give your hamster muesli-style mixes due to high in fats, sugar, and fiber. These mixes can cause extra weight and hurt the hamster's teeth.
Hamsters chews
On the note with hamsters teeth you must always give them stuff to chew on because their teeth never stop growing, other rodents have this like squirrels or gerbils, even rabbits. Make sure when buying these things to make sure there's no extra coloring or things the hamster could choke on or harmful chemicals. If you are going to get sticks from outside make sure they are suitable and clean.
Stimulation! A need for hamsters
They also need lots of stimulation such as toys, places to hide and to look around for their food. Without this stimulation your hamster can become depressed and sad and soon start to try and escape its cage. Depending on the hamster size it will have a different wheel size, but either way if it's small or big they need a large wheel that's bigger than them. If the wheel is too small it can cause back problems.

Before you buy one of those small wired cages make sure you stop and think about how much room a hamster will need. The bare minimum for a hamster cage is 450 square inches for a single hamster. Many people will use transparent bins which is a way cheaper version since most smaller cages are more expensive. Many people will always use a spare fish tank, not the small ones though the big 50 gallons or just a little less. The bigger the better.
Hamsters can't bathe in water due to how they will get in shock and most likely die, so NEVER bathe your hamsters. Hamsters need sand to bathe themselves so get the sand and always make sure to clean it out. The best sand would be plain reptile sand, you should avoid using chinchilla sand due to it can cause respiratory problems.
Hamsters are nocturnal creatures so you should keep them in a dark silent place so they can slumber through the day. If the hamster can't sleep during the day it will get stressed and too much stress for a hamster can kill it. You shouldn't wake up your hamster in the day it can lead to more stress and won't be able to trust you. Hamsters are lovable creatures and love cuddling with you once they wake up and are ready to play. Hamsters are solitary animals meaning they can only live by themselves once they get older. You should never have two hamsters in one enclosure, if both male and female they will make babies and that would cause a lot of trouble. Because if the mother seems to be stressed she shall eat her babies. IF they're both the same gender they will fight or land and will keep going until one is dead or badly injured. Hamsters will burrow during the day or even at night, they burrow to sleep or hide themselves or anything that has values to them. Hamsters need at least 6 inches of bedding, hamsters need many different subtraces in their cages. Such as wood shavings, paper bedding and a small thing of dirt for different texture. There aren't many safe wood shavings for a hamster, the only safe one is Aspen shavings. Do NOTuse Pine or Cedar bedding is unsafe and can lead to death for your hamster. When playing with your hamster make sure to stay safe and avoid heights, Hamsters need as much care as any other animals, Make sure to clean out their cage at least once a week. That's how you treat hamsters with the care and respect they deserve.
How can technology be beneficial to teenagers?

We all have seen the claim that “ technology is harmful “ and that it is harmful to teenagers , but why is that? Researchers believe that technology is harmful because of these three main reasons: decreased physical activity , sleep deprivation, and mental illness. In some cases,these claims can be true,but I am here to tell you how technology can be beneficial to teenagers.
One reason is because it gives us a way to be more aware. A lot of teens around the world are more aware of the environment and world around them because of technology. If it were not for technology , most adults wouldn’t even be aware of their surroundings.Teenagers wouldn’t only be aware of their environment , teenagers can even learn new things , like how to be safe in a certain situation , Which is my second reason. Online there are multiple tips and tricks on how to stay safe , not only staying safe but there are helpful videos like on how to cook or how to wash clothes.
My last reason is ,technology helps us communicate. Communication can be helpful in many ways , It can be helpful for our safety , and for our knowledge. We can always communicate with others easily now with technology. Research even proves that technology is beneficial. “Young people love going online , for very good reasons. By using the internet they can get easy access to information to inform and educate themselves , maintain and develop relationships , and form their identities. “(REACHOUT , paragraph 2) This piece of research shows how technology can be beneficial , we should stop looking at the disadvantages and advantages of technology. In conclusion, technology can be beneficial to teenagers.
