The PRP Paw Print is a student-run paper under the guidance of Mrs. Scott-Berger. Its staff is a team of hardworking and dedicated students who focus and specialize in different mediums.
Judy Scott-Berger - I am the Senior English and Journalism teacher at PRP High School. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas and worked in the field of publishing and public relations for many years before becoming a teacher. In 2000 I earned my Masters in Education and became a teacher. I’ve taught all grades and all ages, but my favorite is high school! I used to freelance write more often than I do now, however as I get closer to my retirement I am starting to write more often; perhaps you’ll see a novel from me in a few years!
Jasmine Luxemburger - Hi! I’m Jasmine, also known as Jazz. I am currently a Senior, class of 2025! I participate in our school's varsity volleyball team as the captain, SADD, ATC, and student council as the vice president of my class. I have grown up around PRP for almost my whole life. My step dad works here as well. He works as a security guard in the tech building and a basketball coach, some of you may know him as Mr. Hood. I am so thrilled to be your new editor in chief this year!
Hola! My name is Alexa López, and I’m an 18 year old senior. I’m Mexican-Cuban and have been in the country for the past two years. I’m someone filled with love and warmth, always eager to connect with others. My passions include philosophy and spirituality. I’m constantly on the lookout for new knowledge to expand my horizons and understanding. I have a deep love for music and the world of cinematography, and I’m also very passionate about art. I hope to use the tools I have today to help create a more loving future.
Hi, I’m Amanda I’m a junior and I’m sixteen. My hobbies are drawing digitally and traditionally, writing, and traveling! I love any form of art and people that enjoy what they do.
Hello fellow Panthers, I am Anthony Judd. I am the Captain of the Debate and Quick Recall teams, as well as the founding president of the Turning Point USA chapter at PRP. I am passionate about my rights and responsibilities as a citizen of the greatest nation to exist and I urge you all to do the same! The First Amendment is the single most important article of our constitution; we have been lost to the freedom we were born in and are unaware of just how good we have it. Wield the First Amendment, get involved in your communities, speak your mind, and vote, as these are your rights and responsibilities as citizens of the United States of America.
Hello Panthers! This is Brooklyn Box checking into The Paw Print for my senior year. You may have seen me around last year, as I am in the Business academy and heavily involved in WPRP. Outside of my clubs, I am a music enthusiast, a makeup artist, a dog mom, and a Roadie up at Texas Roadhouse on Dixie. I’m invested in all things pop culture and here to speak for the culture as well. If you see me don’t be afraid to say hello, or afraid to help keep PRP informed.
Hello, It’s Gabriela Cobas, but everyone calls me Gaby. I am a Cuban girl of 18 years old. A great dreamer, full of goals to accomplish, brave and visionary who left my country about a year ago, to create and work on the future that I so desire for myself and my family. I love communication and acting, that's why I would like to work in television hosting programs or something like that. Empathy and humility are some of my characteristics, helping others and love for animals is something that makes me feel fulfilled. And if I have to give a message to someone, I would tell them to never doubt their potential and everything they are capable of achieving, that the power is within us, everything is in our minds.
Hello, I’m Grace Carroll! I’m a senior and this is my first year in The Paw Print. I’m in cinematography, and will be helping with WPRP. I’m stage manager for the theater department, and outside of school I work at White Castle. I love doing everything behind the scenes, I am definitely not a spotlight girly. I have a dog, cat and bunny at home, and my pets are my whole world. I’m excited to see what this school year has to bring!

Hi! My name’s Taylor, and this is my first year being a part of The Paw Print. I’m a junior in the CInematography pathway. I love photography and videography! I’ve been obsessed with movies and cameras ever since I could walk. My favorite genre was always horror, but I’ve grown to appreciate many other types of media. I love art in all of its forms.I love trying new things, and the Paw Print is my newest thing! Despite being quiet, I am a very social person. You’re always welcome to reach out. Thank you!
My name is Hunter Quire. I am 18 years old and was born and raised in Indiana, specifically New Albany. I moved to Kentucky with my father at the age of 14. I'm interested in video photography, media arts, journalism, etc. I've always wanted to be in a position where I can help people, I dreamed of being a police officer, or a firefighter, but ultimately these jobs are too hazardous for me. I prefer to help people more safely, so I've liked journalism and news broadcasts. I can easily help people with multiple things behind a desk, or a camera, and this industry seems fun. Being in broadcast news has been a passion of mine for some time, and I've only recently taken a liking to print journalism. I'm mostly passionate about being on camera. To me, the news is an important part of humans' daily lives, it's how we keep up to date with what's around us, and I want to be a part of that. I'd say I’m a pretty outgoing person, I like to socialize with people and get to know them. Everyone has a story to tell, and I love to listen to those stories.
Hi, my name is Sam. I am a Junior at PRP and I’ll be helping out with The Paw Print this school year, hopefully maybe next year too. During my time in The Paw Print, I hope to have a good time and improve my writing.
