English as a Second Language (ESL) –
Our Life Skills English classes equip non-native English speakers with the language skills needed to live and work successfully in the United States. Students also gain knowledge that empowers them to be supportive parents to ensure the success of their children in the K-12 system.
Academic English classes meet the needs of non-native English speakers who are functioning at higher levels. These classes utilize intensive instruction to help students transition into English classes, postsecondary education, or careers.
Educational Enrichment Services (EES) –Jefferson Adult Education and Jefferson Community & Technical College (JCTC) partner to serve college-bound students in need of basic skills. EES classes follow the college schedule in both time and structure to provide a seamless transition into postsecondary coursework. Many students are enrolled in EES and JCTC classes simultaneously.
Family Education – Engage in multi-generational learning with our Family Education program! The program serves children 6 months through 5th grade and caregivers working toward earning the GED credential or improving English language skills.
