Audio Enhancement Front Office/Admin Support
Every JCPS front office will receive an EPIC (Education Paging & Intercom Communication) Kiosk Station. The EPIC solution is a Chrome browser-based interface software management platform built for K12 education. User roles and permissions determine which components of the platform are accessible to each user.
Auxiliary - The unit includes 2 inputs on the rear of the device that can connect to an external music source.
Local storage - 2GB of audio files can be stored on the unit by USB
Volume - The max volume is controlled in the EPIC settings. Secondary control is set by the external device and the sliding volume control next to the source icons.
Locking CLAUDIA - To lock your CLAUDIA and restrict access, press the lock icon. This will bring up a security keypad that will not unlock the device until the correct pin has been entered. The default lock pin is 1234.
Bluetooth - **Tip – You may need to select one of the other sources first, then select Bluetooth to begin the pairing search
Turn on the Bluetooth of the external device and make sure it is on the JCPS network.
Press the Bluetooth icon on the CLAUDIA screen - it will search for external devices to pair with
On the external device, scan for devices in the Bluetooth settings. The name of the CLAUDIA device will be AE_Blue. Select and allow external devices to pair to AE_Blue.
Select and play the audio of your choice to begin streaming.
