In 21st-century learning, technology plays a critical role. While that is a known fact, the integration of such technology can sometimes have unexpected hurdles. For these instances, the IT3: Integration branch is here. Through their work, they help ensure that students and teachers have working access to the technology and resources they need to effectively teach and learn.
Technology is not about gadgets or gimmicks. It's about using available resources to CONNECT, CREATE, and LEARN!

What Can IT3: Integration Offer Me?
The IT3: Integration team supports all JCPS locations to ensure device uptime is maximized so that digital instruction and business operations can be successful. This is achieved through a multitude of supports, including:
Google Education Plus service management - Every student and staff member can create, share, and edit files in real-time on pages that are automatically saved on the cloud.
Cloud storage (Unlimited free storage on Google Drive)
Online suite of apps: Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Forms, and more
Collaboration tools and file-sharing capabilities
Students can access their files from anywhere on any device.
Year-Round virtual support through phone, chat, video, and ticketing to ensure our colleagues have the technical support they need to be successful
New instructional devices to teachers and other select staff through the JCPS Technology Integration Program (TIP)
Device distribution in accordance with JCPS Everyone:1 and the commitment toward sustainability
Apple product management - iPads, MacBooks, and app deployments
Enrollment and onboarding as schools implement new technologies they need to achieve digital agility
Customized trainings for Infinite Campus, MUNIS, Clever, and other productivity applications that help ensure business continuity
Assist schools in making technology purchases that meet their specific needs while also aligning with the Kentucky Education Technology Systems (KETS) state standards.

JCPS CARE Center Site (jcps.me/help)
The JCPS CARE Center is the new and improved "Help Desk" of JCPS. This team has been refocused to provide the best possible CARE to our JCPS staff in support of their daily work. This website helps to provide asynchronous answers, while also connecting staff with the various avenues of support available to them - Phone, Chat, Video, and Ticketing.
Other helpful information found on the site includes: JCPS-created shorteners (jcps.me), system status updates (outages), and RingCentral and Audio Enhancement training files and support documents!

Using KETS Funds in JCPS (Website)
Kentucky Education Technology Systems (KETS) funds are a fantastic resource provided to schools from the district and state. These funds are in place to support the technological advancements within your school as outlined in your Technology Plan and SBDM policies. While an amazing resource, these funds can sometimes be difficult to navigate as their use must be student-directed. As such, the IT3: Integration team has developed a website to help schools in using these funds.
