PROCESS:
We read the book Tu YouYou's Discovery: Finding a cure for malaria.
We worked together to decide on the scenes.
We added the scenes in the Book Trailer on iMovie.
We borrowed microscopes from our science teacher, Ms. Finley.
Our teacher had test tubes and cases.
We made the medical coats using white poster paper.
We added the buttons and folds.
We acted out the scenes.
Finally, each of the videos was edited by adding the background for the green screen.
Our teacher bought the videos from Envato, to make sure we had the license to use those videos.
We opened up the iMovie book trailer and added each clip to the scenes. Wherever photos were added, we did a Ken burns effect.
Finally, once all the images and videos were added, the video was downloaded and added to the classroom.
A title was added and the sources to the video using PHOTOS APP.
Then it was downloaded and my teacher added that to YouTube for easy access.
