Hi! I am so excited to be Co-Editor in Chief with Lena for my second year in Journalism. When I'm not designing the layout or editing stories from my fellow journalists, I like to develop stories and podcasts that are both entertaining and informing. I am ready for the school to read, hear and talk about the hard work that the Journalism team has done.

My name is Lena and I am a senior in high school! I've been at Brown since 9th grade and this is my second year in Journalism. Along with my roles as Co-Editor-in-Chief with Evangeline and Layout Designer, I love to write articles that focus on people and showcase the many different perspectives we have at Brown. I enjoy interviewing others for my articles and covering topics that are important to my fellow students.
Fun Fact:
I love reading--my favorite book of all time is Little Women--and I also love to write creatively! When I'm not at school, clubs, work, or keeping up with my hobbies, I love to spend time with my friends and family.

I fell in love with reading and writing at a young age, so getting the opportunity to do what I love and share it with others is a real treat for me! I especially enjoy sharing my opinions on games, books, movies and shows, which is why I decided to start reviewing!

I have always adored reading and writing, and I joined Journalism to combine both passions. I review books (ones I find good - why would anyone want to read a bad book?). I believe that good news should be shared too; we have to focus on the positives of the world.

As a journalist, my number one goal is to inform the public and clear up misinformation. I enjoy research projects, especially on hot-button topics. In addition, I'm known for writing reviews--media literacy is a dying art form! My interpretations of media and presentation of scientific facts aim to spark depthful conversations and achieve a new level of understanding in the world of science. I'm proud to be the Science Editor on the journalism staff!

I am a mixed woman, Black father, White mother. A huge part of my life was finding my identity, one where the world does not necessarily have to accept me, but that I have to be content. I'm weird, but I find joy in that. Most of my pieces will be about our current political situation, likely set in the United States but welcome to establishing the wrong doings of others.
