- Please go through your child's planner with them each night. This is a good time to review days of the week, months of the year and read the date to practice recognizing numerals. Read the memory word your child choose to record and ask them about it. Sign or initial on the right hand side (there is a little spot for that)
- Please have your child read for 20 minutes for a minimum of 4 nights during each homework week. Please record that reading was done on the right hand side of your child's planner.
- Only two math pages will be required each week. All math pages prior to the required ones ( as applicable) will be sent home as well. These can be done if you see a need or your child would like. If the assigned page is difficult and one of the proceeding pages is better suited to your child's need then simply note that and do the page that is best suited for your child. If your child showed an understanding to the current unit, then accelerated math pages have been included.
- Occasional special projects may also be assigned.
