My name is Shanna Stevens and I am from Littleton Colorado. I grew up playing sports and trying new things (The crazier the better!) Whether it is traveling the world or wrestling an alligator, I have aways been up for a challenge!
In 4th grade, I decided I wanted to be a teacher and never looked back. I have been teaching for 21 years. I know I only look 27 and you are shocked by this information... but I have been doing this a long time and plan on retiring doing this crazy job! I taught elementary education for 14 years before making the switch to technology education in the middle school and high school level. With a masters in technology, I was able to make the switch and learn a lot in the process. After many classes and getting my CTE certification, I focused on CTE and Media Arts. I love learning new skills and I am constantly taking classes to learn and grow.
My role as the DTL has been such a wonderful transition and next step in my career. It allows me to work with staff and students in multiple ways. Being creative and collaborative while making an impact in classrooms through technology has been extremely rewarding.
