Hi,
My name is Mr. Enlund and I am the 6th grade Counselor at Summit Ridge! This is my 14th year as a school counselor, 10 of which have been in Middle School. I am originally from Illinois and have lived in Colorado since 2008. I am passionate about helping middle school students navigate this difficult time in their lives, and love helping them to explore their possibilities for the future!
I have 2 young daughters (ages 7 and 4) and I love all things mountains- especially hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Being from Illinois, I'm a huge fan of the Cubs and Bears (and yes, I know that neither team is very good!).
Many people know I partner with my therapy dog, Rizzo, in my work here at SRMS. He typically comes to work with me twice a week, and provides help with Animal Assisted Interventions. We are a certified handler team from Professional Therapy Dogs of Colorado, and I'm always happy to answer questions or address concerns around having a dog in the building!
Hello! I am Samantha Dobson and will be working with our 7th grade students and families during the 25-26 school year. This is my second year at Summit Ridge and my 10th year as a school counselor. I love what I get to do and am so excited to be part of the Summit Ridge Hawks family!
While I am not a Colorado native, I cannot imagine living anywhere else (especially a place with humidity!) I originally stared in education as a music teacher but realized that my favorite part of being in a classroom was the ability to form connections with students beyond the curriculum.
Outside of school I enjoy being in nature, playing board games and Mario Kart with my older three kids, and going on adventures with my family. I also really enjoy pulling fun pranks on people!
Hello!
I am Mr. Obermeyer, and I am the school counselor for the 8th grade this year. I am very excited to be at Summit Ridge Middle School for my 6th year! One of my favorite things to do is help students identify challenges that they may face, and help them come up with solutions to those challenges that will work best for them. I love to help other people.
I grew up in Littleton and love our community. I enjoy playing or watching just about any sport (Go Nuggets!). I played college wheelchair basketball at the University of Alabama while I studied to be a school counselor, and still play ball for a team called the Denver Rolling Nuggets in Colorado. I also coach a kids wheelchair basketball team in Denver for kids with physical disabilities. I like meeting new people and look forward to getting to work with with 8th grade crew for one more year!
Don't hesitate to reach out for help!
Welcome to Summit Ridge!
My name is Ms. Romero and I am so excited to have you here!
I was born in Colorado, but I mostly grew up in New Mexico so I love all things spicy! I moved back to Colorado 10 years ago from Walla Walla, Washington. I have worked in schools for 15 years and have been working with kids even longer. I have worked with students ranging from Pre-K to college freshmen, but I think middle school is the BEST!
When I am not working, I love to read, listen to music, and travel. So far I have been to: Canada, Mexico, France, Italy, & England, but I have many more places on my list! I'm always up for a good movie, music, or book discussion. If you have any recommendations, send them my way!

Hi! My name is Ms. Mullins and I am the school social worker. I have worked in schools since 2006 in a variety of settings and locations. From Massachusetts to San Diego to Colorado I have enjoyed working with students ages 3 to 22. After having been in elementary schools the last six years I am excited to be back in middle school! I love helping students find their strengths, overcome obstacles and reach their potential.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my family including my two children (ages 3 and 5), husband and golden retriever. My interests and hobbies include skiing, hiking, mountain biking and photography. Some fun facts: I have attended 6 different colleges, used to have a gold tooth, and was the state bowling champion in New Hampshire when I was 12!
I am very excited to meet you all!
