About me

I have been teaching for almost 30 years. I spent the first 21 years teaching 7th and 8th grade Social Studies which I loved. When this position became available, I jumped at the opportunity of a new challenge. I have a Master's degree in Technology in Education, so it is actually not a big leap. I look forward to this new curriculum and pushing myself to stay as current as possible in an ever changing world of technology.

I have been lucky in my life to have had a computer (Tandy 1000) and Atari in the early 80's. I learned how use both and have never stopped. I don't consider myself an expert in any one thing about computers, just knowledgeable about many different things. This is perfect, because the goal of a middle school elective is to show students possibilities so they can decide whether to pursue it further in high school or not.
