Mrs. Rogers

My name is Vanessa Rogers and this is my 27th year of teaching. I was born in Pennsylvania and have also lived in Texas and New Mexico. 

I graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Education from NMSU. After graduation, I moved to Colorado where my first 8 years were spent teaching 5th grade. I later earned my Master's degree from CU Boulder in Linguistically Diverse and Bilingual Education and in 2008 I was hired here at Ryan as the ESL teacher. I love teaching 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade here at Ryan!

My favorite things to do when not teaching are reading, playing board games, and having picnics in the park with my daughter.
