VARSITY HEAD COACH
This will be Coach Geissler's seventh year coaching at Ralston Valley, and her third year as the varsity coach! In her first year, her team hosted Regionals and made it to the State Tournament! She is very proud to be a part of such a successful program and has big dreams for the future. In addition to coaching, Kayleigh is also a 5th-grade teacher at Van Arsdale.
Coach Geissler is committed to her athlete's success in education, athletics, and life. The foundation of her program is built upon forming meaningful relationships with athletes and giving them opportunities to develop.
VARSITY ASSISTANT COACH
This will be Lindsay's sixth year coaching at Ralston Valley. She has over 14 years of coaching experience at Momentum and Rocky Elite Volleyball Clubs, where she has coached a variety of teams! She has attended the NCAA Division 1 Volleyball finals twice and there she attended the American Volleyball Coaches Convention where she learned and played with some of the most elite coaches in the country, including Karch Kiraly. She was the head coach at Thunder Ridge for 5 seasons. Lindsay is excited to be a part of the RV program again in the fall and continue to share her knowledge and passion!
VARSITY ASSISTANT COACH
This will be Coach Rillos’ seventh year coaching at Ralston Valley. She is returning to the program after a few years away. She has coached at the college level down to 3-5th graders at the Y. She currently coaches her daughter Abby at Faith Middle School.
Coach Rillos graduated from the Air Force Academy where she enjoyed playing for 4 years. She served in the Air Force for 5 years before deciding to stay home and raise her 5 children, 2 RV graduates and 2 are current students with one more on her way soon. She looks forward to working with such a successful volleyball program and the tremendous athletes at Ralston Valley.
JV HEAD COACH
This will be Chris's second year coaching at Ralston Valley High School! Chris has coached at Colorado Elite Volleyball Club for the last three seasons. He grew up playing soccer, but while in college, he found the game of volleyball. He played on the Men's Club Volleyball team at Colorado Christian University where he also received his Industrial Engineering degree. Chris is an Arvada native and graduated from the purple school down the road. He is excited to be an honorary Mustang and coach alongside his wife!
JV ASSISTANT COACH
This will be Gillian's second year coaching volleyball! She currently attends Colorado Christian University, where she plays on the Women's Club Volleyball team! At CCU, she is getting her degree in Elementary Education and hopes to become a teacher one day. Gillian played club and high school volleyball in Loveland, CO. She brings energy, passion, and a love for the game. She is very excited to be a part of the Mustang family!
LEVEL 3 CO-COACH
This will be Paul’s 12th year of coaching at Ralston Valley and his fourth since 2012. He served as Lisa Nelson’s varsity assistant from 2005-2012 and was the Level 3 coach in 2011 and the JV coach in 2012. Together with Lisa, he co-founded and co-directed the Arvada Colorado Elite Volleyball Club from 2009 through 2013. Since leaving RV in 2013, Paul has continued to coach both at the high school and club level. He is thrilled about being at a place that holds so many special memories for him and is excited to share his knowledge of the sport with RV student-athletes. Paul is a Captain with the North Metro Fire Rescue District and the Chairman of the Board for the Lisa Nelson Memorial Scholarship.
LEVEL 3 CO-COACH
Whitney is a graduate and former volleyball player of RVHS. She played nine years of club volleyball and has been coaching club and high school since 2013. She attended Metropolitan State University where she graduated with a Bachelors in K-12 Physical Education. Whitney is currently a guest teacher with Jefferson County Public Schools.
LEVEL 4 COACH
This will be Tammy’s sixth year coaching at RV, but previously she coached at Ralston Valley from 2014-2017. Tammy grew up in Arvada. She played volleyball at Arvada West High School and chose to raise her family in the same school district she attended. She is excited to be back and part of a winning program in the community where she lives.
