Digital Teacher Librarian
I am so happy to teach in the wonderful learning community of Parmalee Elementary! This is my eleventh year in the Parmalee Library. I grew up in the Evergreen/Conifer area, and I am thrilled to return to the mountains to teach. I am passionate about books and literacy, and love connecting students with books and nurturing curiosity and a love of reading. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of California at San Diego, and a Master of Arts in Information Learning Technologies/School Library from the University of Colorado Denver.
My husband Stelios and I have been married for 31 years, and we have two daughters who are 22 and 25. We have three cats: a Siamese cat named Maya, a grey "COVID" kitty named Winslow, and a sweet noodle named Rhea. Our family loves reading, hiking, biking, and travel. In addition to teaching at Parmalee Elementary, I have been a member of the Colorado Children’s Chorale artistic staff since 1994.
