If you are wondering how the competitors train well they learn how to ski at local and resorts and snowboarding clubs are primary starting points. Places like Cooper and Winter Park are good places to start. Also most of them have gone to ski school regular. Another thing about the training is that before the Olympics the train like weeks and weeks before but they usually train the day before they compete. But before they can compete they have to have the right equipment. The equipment consts of bindings which hold the ski in, gloves and boots, jumping skis which help them jump better, and a skiing jacket which is destined to be used during ski jumping.
