Reading

This year, all 6th grade students will be enrolled in a Reading class in addition to their English Language Arts class. In order to help our students transition into the middle school model, we are excited to roll out an additional support class to all 6th graders. By offering reading to them, this will help towards our school wide goal around literacy and promote the love of reading in 6th graders.

We will focus on vocabulary to improve comprehension, reading strategies, and daily writing while also developing a love of reading through some really amazing and exciting books!!
