Meet the Teacher
Welcome to Dunstan! I am so excited to start a new year with you! This is my second year at Dunstan, last I taught 6th grade math along with 7th grade Money Management. Before Dunstan I taught 7th grade math and science in Augusta, Georgia and 7th grade math in Omaha, Nebraska.
My husband and I enjoy spending the majority of our time with our dog Watson. We love to explore Colorado which includes hiking, backpacking, skiing, and hanging out with family and friends.
I am excited to meet all of you and look forward to a great school year, even though it may be a little different.

Inside the Classroom
In my classroom, my main goal is to guide students to learning. I want to facilitate them in their learning process and goals. I will be there for them to help them through problems but I believe students learn the most when they are challenged and we work to get the solution together. This year we will model a flipped classroom.
Flipped Classroom utilizes videos, multimedia, and other resources to deliver educational content to students. Students view and take notes of the content before class time so valuable class time can be used to work one-on-one with the teacher, complete challenging activities, or have discussions with peers about math work.
