*We use The Science of Reading approach by practicing a skill throughout the week and testing at the end of the week instead of giving students a list of words to memorize. We want to see that they understand the concept and they can transfer it.
We practice daily in class. Students are exposed to words that could be on the spelling test at the end of the week.
