The work of reading= 20 min.
Reading aloud to a family member
Students may use a just-right library book or other books at home.
Students can also get on the Lexia website at home to practice reading skills.
Want more ideas to make reading enjoyable at home?
Try having your child record themselves reading and listen back.
Perform a reader's theatre or puppet show with a script to follow.
Math Practice= 10 min.
IXL Math and other online resources can be used to reinforce math skills at home.

***Non-screen options for MATH:
Card games & flashcards are a great "no screen" option to build fact fluency for +/- skills to 20 with mental math.
You can also play a variation with multiplication (repeated addition) if your child wants a challenge.
(Avoid the decimal and pre-algebra games at the bottom of the document. ;)
