About Me

I started my teaching career at Coronado in 2017 and am so excited to spend another school year here. I am passionate about creating a classroom environment where all students feel safe and welcomed, where they aren't afraid to take risks, and where they have FUN!

When I am not at school, I am generally spending time with my family (including my own 3 boys, Cole, Travis, and Bode and our dogs, Roscoe and Boomer), hiking in the mountains, or reading a book on the couch or our back patio. I was born and raised in the pacific northwest (Seattle and the sunshine coast of B.C.), but I moved to Evergreen for high school and am a proud Jeffco graduate! I recently earned my Master's in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading Leadership from Western State Colorado University.
