Class Overview

Students will study theater arts and theater history and will learn fundamental acting skills through various exercises which include:

  • Developing skills in vocal quality and control through reading projection, articulation and inflection.

  • Developing stage presence through monologues and partnered scenes and improvisation


Assignments

  • My goal is to complete all assignments during our normal class meeting time. A list of all of the assignments are located under the classwork tab on each google classroom and are organized by week as well as below:

Week 9: Oct. 11-15

  • Monologue performances

  • Rome/Medieval Theatre (quiz to be done after presentation)
