You can also email Mrs. Close (jennifer.close@jeffco.k12.co.us) a picture from your summer adventures with a brief message. 

Keep a summer journal as a place to write or draw your thoughts. Here are some prompts to get you started:

• What does your perfect summer day look like?

• Invent a new toy. What would it be and how would it work?

• Draw a picture of a new superhero or monster. What is their story?

• If you had a time machine, where would you go and why?

• Create a summer bucket list.

• Go for a walk and write about what you saw.

• Would you rather - come up with a list of would you rather questions. Then pick your favorite and write your answer.

• What is your favorite movie and why?

• What about the new school year makes you excited?
