Mount Carbon Reads
This summer, Mount Carbon students will participate in an optional family literacy project where students across all grade levels will read the same book. Research shows that reading aloud materials beyond a child’s reading level enriches language skills and reading aloud to children who can read independently creates a valuable family experience.
This is completely optional. See the activities below. If you complete FOUR (4) of more activities together, your child will be invited to a celebration at the beginning of the 26-27 school year. We are excited to read together!
