TAKING AP CLASSES IS A VALUED ATTRIBUTE IN THE COLLEGE APPLICATION, SCHOLARSHIP, & ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Students can earn college credit for the AP exams in which they score a 3 or higher. All Colorado High School Students are Guaranteed Credit for AP exams with a 3 or higher at public coloroad universities. The credit is guaranteed to transfer, but it is not guaranteed to apply to degree requirements. Students should consult with academic advisors on how credit for AP can meet degree requirements. Colleges & universities may award credit for other AP exams that are not listed on the state approved exam list -- students are encouraged to check with the college or university.
