October 19th - November 3rd: Butter Braids Fundraiser (40% of proceeds go to Lawrence Elementary)

Friday, October 30th - Parry's Pizza Fundraiser (20% of proceeds go to Lawrence Elementary)

Thursday, February 11th - "Bring your sweetheart to Texas Roadhouse" Fundraiser (20% of proceeds go to Lawrence Elementary)

Duties of Officers

President shall:

-          Preside at all meetings of this local PTA and board of directors

-          Serve as a ex-officio member of all committees of this local PTA

-          Perofrm such duties as may be provided

-          Appoint standing committee chairmen for the approval of the board of directors with exemption of nominating and financial review

-          Appoint special committees as needed

-          Appoint PTA liason to the school’s accountability committee

Vice president shall:

-          Serve as an aide to the president

-          Perform the duties of the presidnt in the president’s absence or inability to serve

-          Perform such other duties as may be provided by these bylaws, prescribed by the parliamentary authority, or directed by the president or the board of directors.

Secretary shall:

-          Record the minutes of all meetings of the Lawrence Elementary PTA

-          Be prepared to read the records of any previous meetings

-          File and maintain all records

-          Have a current copy of the bylaws

-          Retain a current membership list

-          Perform such other duties as may be provided by these bylaws, prescribed by the parliamentary authority, or directed by the president or the board of directors.

Treasurer shall:

-          Have custody of the funds of this local PTA

-          Maintain a full account of the funds of this local PTA

-          Make disbursements as authorized by the president or board of directos

-          Be one of the signatory on all PTA accounts.

-          Cause to be kept a full and accurate account of receipts and disbursements in the books belonging to Lawrence Elementary PTA

-          Provide a financial report to the board of directors and membership at each meeting

-          Provide an annual report of the financial condition of the association to the membership at the meeting following the financial review/audit.

-          Submit the books annually for a financial review/audit by an auditor or a financial review committee selected by the board of directors.

-          Perform such other duties as may be provided by these bylaws, prescribed by the parliamentary authority, or directed by the president or the board of directors
