Executive Board Members

Kaela – President

Hi! This is my first year on the PTA Board and my 3rd year as a Lawrence Student Parent. I have lived in Old Town Arvada for over 10 years and take great pride in our community. I work for Xcel Energy for my "day job" where I work with engineering and project management on gas utility projects. In our spare time, my family loves to play board games, participate in Pokémon-related activities, and play with our dog, Bark Vader. My goal in the PTA is to increase engagement with our families and staff to help everyone feel like they belong to this Lawrence community.

Courtney – Secretary

Hello all, I'm Courtney Osborn, mother of James Paschal, a first grader at Lawrence Elementary, and your PTA vice-president. I joined the PTA to be an active participant in my son's education and the Lawrence community and its been great. I am a Colorado native, raised in Frisco, and have lived in Arvada for the last 7 years. I am an adjunct instructor at Metro State University of Denver and Red Rocks Community Classes, teaching literature, English and humanities classes. I look forward to seeing all of you at the PTA meetings this year so that we can best serve our students, teachers and community.

Mandie – Treasurer

Mandie and her family have been with the Lawrence community since 2022. She is the Director of Health and Wellness at Kavod Senior Life. Mandie has a BA in elementary education and psychology and is pursuing a MPH from George Washington University. Mandie specializes in holistic health for older adults, specifically interventions that address the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of aging. She has been a Director at Kavod since 2015 and has held other nonprofit service roles including CEO at Colfax Community Network and Health and Aging Programs Manager at Denver Housing Authority.

Kevin – Budget Director

I am pleased to be your Treasurer for the 2023-2024 school year. My daughter Anneke, is in second grade at Lawrence. This is my first time on a PTA following many years of board experience on other non-profit organizations. I am an associate professor of Chemical Engineering at Colorado School of Mines.
