If you are experiencing issues with your Chromebook, follow these steps to help get your device back up and running again as quickly as possible.
STEP ONE: Clear cache, cookies, extensions, and apps. Use this Chromebook Tune Up to walk you through how to do this step by step. You can also watch this quick SCREENCAST for regular Chromebook care.
STEP TWO: Reset your device. Use this Chromebook Reset Guide (when at home) or the Chromebook Reset Guide (when at school) to walk you through how to do this step by step. This will clear out your downloads folder, so back up your device ahead of time by dragging items from your downloads to Google Drive. This will not clear out your Google Drive. Watch this VIDEO to walk you through the reset process.
