We have begun Unit 6 which is on Fractions. Thus far, we have discussed adding and subtracting fractions with like denominators, ordering fractions, and fractions that add to 1.

This week our lesson focus will be:

*Mixed Numbers and Fractions greater than 1

*Adding and Subtracting mixed numbers with like denominators

*Practice with fractions and mixed numbers

Your child will have math homework on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Please continue to work with your children on their multiplication and division math facts.
