About Me

I have been married to my husband, Eddie, for 18 years and we met each other indirectly through Normandy! We have two wonderful children. Brock is in 8th grade and Emme is in 6th grade. They are amazing little people that keep us on our toes daily. As a family, we enjoy traveling and recently have enjoyed traveling to some historical areas in the U.S. It's been fun to share these experiences with our children. We also enjoy camping and hiking in the summertime and then, of course, anything my kids are doing and involved in! Currently that includes soccer, parkour, and ninja warrior training.

This is my 25th year of teaching - which seems like a long time to me, but it has gone by so quickly! My passion is creating a diverse learning environment for children which includes integrating technology into curriculum.

I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming (Go Cowboys!), a Master's Degree in Diverse Learning (Univ. of Phoenix), and a second Master's in Library Science and Technology Integration (UCD). As you can see I love learning and especially appreciate the opportunity to bring new ideas into my classroom.

I look forward to a wonderful year filled with many new and interesting learning opportunities.
