Physical Participation Resources:

  • Go Noodle - Video based fitness activities. Go to the GoNoodle.com site, select family and choose a video. Each is less than 5 minutes.

  • Cosmic Kids - Child appropriate Yoga videos. Can select by length or energy level. Appropriate for K-4th graders. CosmicKids.com

  • OpenPhysEd.org - Resources for teacher (and now parents) for activities. Ongoing updates with the current situation. More than 100 new pages added over the past weekend.

  • Fitness Cards- Made by Mr. Keyes, available to download or print.

  • Shape America - PE Teacher National Organization with resources for Physical Education. Has current event articles, and activities for different age kids. For some resources you may need to create a temporary and free non member account.

  • Sparkecademy.com - This is another site for teacher (and Parent teachers as well) that provides activities for children of different ages. You will need to create an account, follow directions in the confirmation email. They have materials to provide 3 weeks of content for K-2, 3-6, Middle School, and High School to keep students active and healthy when they are out of school. To see all of the K-12 courses click on “See More”.

  • Les Mills - Temporary free content. The "Born to Move" content is their kids workouts. If it has a clock you can open it for free. Skip the videos with the padlock. Find videos aimed for your age.

  • Explain why your favorite sport is the best sport. Describe what skills you must have to compete well.

  • Which component of fitness is most difficult for you? Explain with details why you believe this is harder for you and how you could improve your skill in this area over the next year.
